Post by: goodolboy94 on April 05, 2009, 04:28:00 AM
I was wondering how you could make your own 3d targets and was wondering if any body has found anything that works very well i tried to fill a cheap turkey decoy with spray foam, and it worked but its really sticky in the middle so not the best any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated greatly

x2 on the R&W targets. Also, I just built a 2foot wide, 30 inch high, 4ft long pressure treated wooden box, that will hold 20 cubic feet of masonry sand. This will be extremely economical, won't ever need replacing, & will stop field points & broadheads easily. I am having the sand delivered Tuesday morning. I'll do a quick video for you guys.

Burlap bag filled with plastic grocery bags. Hung horizontally, it is about the size of a deers body. You could cut it off and shape it to the size of a turkey. By hanging these targets you get some movement which for me, helps to concentrate more on the "spot" I intent to hit.
