Title: Kohannah bow question???
Post by: pintail_drake2004 on May 16, 2009, 12:36:00 AM
Hello gents, I have had my buddies on the lookout for a recurve for me and my brother. Last night one of my friends sent me a link to Kohanna Bows-specifically the Kohanna Hunter t/d recurve. I have never heard of these before (but i dont subscribe to any trad mags either). Would someone mind filling me in on their quality, service, etc.? a pic would be nice too  ;)

thanks
pintail

Bob makes some fine bows.     Very reasonable by todays standards too.Quality, speed, quiet, and smooth to draw. I had two of his one piece  Kurves, a 58"er and a 60"er.I sold the used 60"er to order a 58"er. The only reason I sold the 58"er was to get a Bud started in Traditional Archery. After he shot the Bow he had to have it. I never shot his 3 piece takedown. but from what I hear they are an awesome performer. Hope I helped.

You can't go wrong with a bow from Bob. Great quality, value, and price. He's been around a long time. He must be doing something right

Pintail: I love both my Kohannahs. Had them special made and Bob is one heck of a guy to deal with. Top bow is a Kohannah Kurve and the bottom one is my Windwalker longbow. These bows shoot with the best of them and are among my keepers.

I have to add if you order a bow from Bob. When you get the bow all's you have to do is put the string on her and shoot. He sets it up for you with silencers and nock point.
