I was checking out Steal Forces heads at Denton. They have some single bevel heavy duty heads that are pretty good looking. There razor sharp and made of thick stainless. Has anyone used these heads on anything yet?
-
They're new this year so I haven't heard any real life stories yet but, you're right they sure are HD. I prefer the steel ferrule (250 gr.?)over the aluminum (185 gr. I think).

I have a set of the 300 grain ones they gave me at Denton Hill for field testing later this year and a review of them.
Steel Force should be set up as a sponsor in the near future here.
-
Are these glue-on? Ooh-la-la!
-
The 300s are screw in. They do have glue-ons though I am not sure how heavy they have.
-
Dave, can you post a pic of the ones you have? I have been hearing about these for quite awhile now but I havent seen any pics as of yet.
-
I have the 145s and the shoot like field poits. No whistling at all.Havent hunted them yet though.
-
Here's a pic of the 300 screw in. These things are sharp right out of the package and after season if you've managed to dull one in a big way, you can send up to nine back at $3.95 to have them resharpened.

They look pretty good, I like he ferrule design alot better on those than the typical Steelforce heads.
-
Are you not allowed to sharpen them yourself Dave?
;)
-
I figured 9 heads sharpened for under $4 might be a comfort to the single bevel sharpening challenged George. I don't foresee my needing the service unless a water buffalo rolls one on me. :)
-
They do look deadly partner, and you don't have to get a second loan on the house to buy a few.
-
Hmmm....don't see any of them on their site. Just some flimsy looking blue ones.
-
They had a whole new line-up of them at Denton Hill. I couldn't find most of them on the site either.
-
Does anybody know if these are made in the U.S.A.?
-
I just checked and per the package, says Made In The U.S.A. :clapper:
-
I was talking to the rep selling them and he said the father and son do them in there shop. I'm 99% he said they are American made.
-
Dave, I'll do 'em for $3.75 :) I need to see these this fall...Doc
-
Come on up Jeff and I'll give you one to play with.
-
Where can you get them???? And....do you have a choice in bevel side??
-
Yes they come right or left bevel.
-
I know Nick and have been to the Steelforce shop. It's in Honesdale PA and they are made in the USA. These aren't on his website yet but, they're available if you call.
I really liked the other new head he had at Denton too, the 190 gr. double bevel "African". It's a shorter and wider "delta" style head with a .075 thick blade. Did anybody else see these?
Ron

Yes, he had a lot of new designs there that looked like they'd work real well for us.
-
you guys have any idea when we will see these on the site??
-
What is the cost?
-
Where can we get these?? How much?
