Title: Opening Day Tomorrow in Alberta

Tomorrow is opening day for most of Alberta...some of the northern and mountain zones have been open for a couple of weeks already, but tomorrow, the rest of the province opens up...I drew a bull moose tag..usual wait is 4 years...we can shoot elk, whites & mulies too...I am starting to vibrate already as we have seen alot of game around our hunting camp already...in fact there is a 4x4 whitetail that walks by the farmer's deck every couple of days...we just have to be on the deck when he walks by!!  :eek:

Good luck! I'll be up in a couple weeks when the moose rut hunt starts in the mountain zone. Will also have a mule deer tag in case we come across any while moose hunting.

Who are you going to be hunting with Jack...you should be in the middle of the rut!!

If you are close to Red Deer at some time Jack, we should try and get a coffee.

 I'm hunting with Corey Kristoff near Nordegg. I hunted the same area with him several years ago and had a great hunt.

  That sounds good! Actually, a buddy and I are driving up and will probably spend the night of September 22 in Red Deer. We are supposed to hook up with another friend in Calgary that afternoon and have a cook out with him. At this point I'm not sure what time we will be getting to Red Deer? I'll need to get your phone number and give you a call when I have a better idea.

Hey Dennis all the best from the province next door. I,ve been out a couple times chasing deer and I think I've got this big 5 point Whitey figured out . All the best on your hunts an TAKE LOTS of PICTURES LOL!
