Some folks from our history, 1946..the year I was born. Read the names...these folks were pioneering modern archery in both field archery and hunting. Erwin Pletcher won the Nationals in 1946 very handily, and his scores were pretty impressive for the equipment of the day.
The shoot was held in Allegan, Michigan, with 474 archers attending from 24 states and Canada.
I'll post more photos next week, these are folks we should know...for at least a day.

Great pics George, I really enjoy seeing pics from the mid 40's thru the 50's, I had a collections of pics and and old Bh collection and sum old stone points I had found in east texas when I moved back too Pa 20 years later the moving van misplaced a few boxes well ther went my pics and arrow heads,I would have rather them lose the living room set, I could replace that keep them comming there great,
I had some pics from the early 50's and I can say they had some really fine looking lady shooters from that time era also. Iam sure you have some also.

How many "silent" stainless steel lifetime strings are on your bows these days? There is a story waiting to be told.
