Title: starter bow for my wife
Post by: talkingcabbage on September 17, 2009, 08:52:00 PM
So, like the title says, I'm looking for a good starter bow for my wife.  She's a very petite 5'4", and wants me to take her bowhunting this season (oct. 1).  Unfortunately, I don't have a trad bow that she can pull.  The only one I have that she can use is my old youth wheelie-bow, but I don't want to start her down that road!
I also don't have much expendable cash at the moment, so I need some suggestions for a decent, but fairly cheap 35#-ish trad bow for her to use.  I've been checking the classifieds, but those are mostly out of my price range, or way too big.
Help?

Cabbage I may have one for her to start with. Won't cost you a arm, much less a finger. Might have a few arrows for it also... I'll PM you a address to come look at them. I live in Libertyville east of you. Be glad to help out..
