Just touched up 3 Wensel Woodsmans from two years ago in about 15 minutes total. They had been carried in a quiver all season, thrown in a tacklebox and carried around in the truck too. They were rusty, but not too bad.
Marked them up with a sharpie, 5 strokes per side, then 3, then 2, then 1 with very light pressure on a Nicholson 14" mill bastard from last year. Then stropped on a wooden block with heavy leather glued to it. PRESTO..... Naked Legs !!!
Thinking about opening up a sharpening service for three bladed heads, haha !!! I read the threads over and over about not being able to sharpen WW's and Snuffers. Easy as falling out of bed every morning ! One day I would like to buy a KME and play with some two blade heads too. I know they are even sharper with the smaller angles and you can even get the angles smaller with a single bevel. :scared:

Always great to hear a testimonial about getting 3 blade heads shaving sharp.
I know there are some out there that need a little encouragement.

COOL Jimmy!!!! You or Mason gonna use one Saturday Morn????

Thanks for no pictures. Hap

Hey Jimmy....you pull those heads backwards over the file? Thanks.
-
Watch Charlie's video on here. Yep, just put that big file on the bench and drag them backwards with two blades at a time down on the file.
Skyler, Mason will be, maybe me too. Just cannot make up my mind which bow combo I will take for sure. If I take my heavy Griffin I will have two Treesharks and two of Chris Surtees' 160 grain Snuffies. Both weigh 200 with adaptors.

Pictures please! Legs... :biglaugh:

Jimmy,
I have several woodsman-bald spots on my legs from last nights preparations!
Cant believe how long I struggled with different heads and sharpeners. Turns out my favorite head is the easiest to sharpen. I just use a good ole broadhead file, count down strokes 3-2-1, then a couple feather light strokes... shaving sharp. Diamond stones, strops, etc just seem to complicate things.

I use a KME diamond stone and have no problems getting them scary sharp. WW,300 Extremes, Razor Caps and two blades, no problem.
