Just got a Dalaa last week, by far the best shooting recurve I have ever shot.....
-
They are excellent bows, and extremely tough. I have 3 DAS, but the Daala is the one I hunt with the most.
-
Welcome to the ILF club. Now just try to figure out which limbs you want to try next.
-
Mine is the 21" riser and overall length is 62"
-
Got a new one due tomorrow. 21" riserw/ med. limbs to make a 64" bow.
-
A bow that is for sure on my want list.
-
I've got seveal notches in the handle of mine so far. I love it.
-
I had a Dalaa and have to say too it was one of the best shooting recurves I've shot. But for me I am a die hard longbow fan,but ending up selling it.Nothing wrong with them they are excellent shooting bows, but just wasn't for me.

Do you guys shoot with a rest or from the shelf. I`ve been thinking of setting up a rig with vanes for wet weather hunting.RC

I order a Dalaa 21" ILf.Did not like the grip and my limbs would not line up on the riser.Sent it back two days latter. The Dalaa riser's do not have a limb alignment option.
I ordered a Bernardini Cobra riser from Lancaster and have been very happy since. The riser has limb allignment adjustnments but my limbs lined up perfect without having to do any adjustnment.
The Dalaa was 579.00 and the cobra on sale for 449.00 normally 589.00.

Hmmm I have a 21" Bernardini Cobra and a 19" Mamaba. Neither have limb alingment system on them?????

Sure they do.
The two nuts top and bottom on either side of the riser is the adjustnment.
Works diffrently than ILF that have set screws that push the limb at the pivoit point of the limb.
I also have the mamba.Like them both.

Do you mean the two bolts under the under the limb bolt are used to aline the limbs east and west??? if so how does it move the limb bolts?
here is my mamba

here is a pic of my 21" ILF risers the cobra is down the picture a bit. You mean the bolts under the limb bolt can drive the limb bolts east and west some way??? I sure didn't know that.

Rust that is correct. The nuts pull the bottom of the precharge bolt instead of pushing it.
What you do is loosen off on one side and tighten the other side to move your limb.Just have to figure out which way to go.
How do you like your Border limbs. Tell me about them if you dont mind. What kind of wait time once you place a order.
Did your risers come with instructions? If not let me know and will try and find mine and send you a copy.

Talco - thanks. never had the need to adjust them. no neither riser came with instruction but I did a search and found them

I have 4 pair of borders limbs CXG, 2 - TXG and Hex 5 H MKI. I also have a 64" black douglas Hex 5 W. It took 6 to 8 weeks to get the borders limbs. These hex 5 H are the MKI. they are super on a shorter riser.

Oh sorry for hijacking the thread. I have a 17" dalaa, 21" das elite ILF and 21" das elite with the DAS connection system. The elite is very near the 21' Dalaa. the DAS Elite is the Red riser in the 21" riser pictures. It is the ILF riser. I really like the DAS connection system the best. The limbs feel that nice thud sound during the follow thru. very quiet for a hot recurve limb. the 21" is not as physically heavy as the Cobra is. The DAS is the bow I take elk hunting.

If you were to consider Border limbs for a Dalaa they take a longer connecting sleeve than the korean limbs do. 3rivers can fix you up with it. Well Borders has them too and they will install it for you.

Got my new 64" one today. Smoooth shooter for sure.

Can you get a dalaa riser only from 3 rivers? I keep thinking I would love to get a das riser with border limbs but not sure how to go about it without paying extra for limbs I wouldn't want. Also, would really like a rear stabilizer bushing...

If your looking to just purchase the riser, we do offer that. You can call or go online:
