I was wanting some info on the terminator bh. I need something in a screw-in around 200-220 grains. Any advice?
-
I got my 200 gr screw ins from Kustom King.. they had them in stock.. zipper and bob morrison also have em.. 3 rivers woodsman elite is the same thing..
-
That is where I saw these, how did they sharpen?
-
excellent!! they come really sharp out of the package.. but a few strokes on a flat diamond stone and they are shaving.. they appear to be a excellent head in every aspect..

I've got some proto-type non-vented 160 glue-on's that are 1", and some 160's that are Original Woodsman size at a little over 1". Although I haven't run any of these thru anything yet, they are an awesome Bh! Sharpen very easily, mount easily, and fly great with deadly silence. I'm very impressed with them.
I'll be using them this Feb. at the Pig Gig hopefully on a few hogs.....
I was also sent a couple of the 1 1/4" 250gr. one piece screw-in Terminators. One vented, one non-vented, and they both have all the traits I described earlier about the glue-ons.
I just used the non-vented yesterday on the coyote....

So far these have impressed me as much as my beloved Snuffers and Wensel Woodsmans

I shot this buck last week in KY with a 1955/56 Kodiak Special using an old Bear cedar arrow tipped with a 250 grain glue-on Terminator. The arrow punched through the edge of the deer's right shoulder blade and exited behind the left shoulder. Complete passthrough and the buck collapsed after a quick 30 yard sprint!

I wish I could afford some of the 250 grain screw ins. I could cut back on how many insert weights I use. those little things can be hard to keep track of.
-
They look tough and nasty, I like the 1 1/8" cut.
-
I took a nice Kansas buck last Friday with the 250 gr. screw in wide head ( 1 1/4" wide )prototype. Very inpressed, pass through, and a blood trail my 5 year old grandson could follow.

Mine arrived yesterday they are bad looking heads. Do you guys leave factory edge on or touch them up. If so how, same way as the WW.
-
Mike, They just need a few licks to hone to shaving sharp! Great BH!

Anyone know what the diameter is going to be on 250 gr glue on version? Gary?
I have the 250 screw in and 190 glue ons already. The glue on version looks to be built like a tank, but I like the wider cut of the 250 screw in.
Would be nice to have an 1 1/4" glue on.

Tradgangers keep the information about these Terninattor com'.Im very intersted.I enjoy the photo's.
-
Thanks Gary

They seem like a great broadhead. I would like to try them sometime. Seems like they would be more forgiving than a big snuffer but bigger that the tiny wensel woodsman= perfect.
-
Gary,
Have you had a chance to measure one of your 250 gr glue on heads yet?
-
I haven't put a tape measure on my 250 glue-ons yet, but did manage to compare one to my 250 gr. screw-ins. The screw-ins are slightly wider than the 250 glue-ons. I'm guessing that the 250 gr. glue-on is approx. 1" wide - measured across 2 blades, so the cutting diameter is well in excess of an inch. I may lay them side by side for a photo and post here. The 250 glue-on has heavy blades and is built like a tank. The buck I posted above shows an exit hole behind the left leg. The arrow blew through the shoulder blade on the opposite side and buried to the fletching as it passed through both lungs. So much for the theory that 3 blade heads aren't bone busters!

I sent off my dealer applacation yesterday..They are going to send me samples.I think the 250grn.glue-on is 1 1/8 and 250grn. screw-in is 1 1/4.
-
The 250 grain screw ons are available in both 1 1/8" and 1 1/4"

are they the same as the woodsman elites? I shoot the 175 non vented, and they look identical. I love the woodsmans, they jump through a deer!! :archer:
