I'm speechless, and that doesn't happen very often!!
Dryad Orion. Longbow limbs, 62 in. 63#@28in. Goncalo Alves and curly myrtle riser w/spalted curly myrtle on back of riser. Bamboo core limbs with spalted curly myrtle veneers. I expected alot out of this bow....and my expectations were vastly exceeded! And the kicker, It is one smooth shootin SOB. Quick and quiet. I've fallen in love for the first time.... all over again
Thank you wingnut and Jason...incredible people to deal with :notworthy: :clapper:
Can't wait to send you pictures of her all bloody like she was meant to be!

I hope to heck these pictures aren't too big!!! I'm not sure how to check that yet :(
If they are too big let me know and give me some advice on makin' them smaller so all can see the beauty that Dryad sent me

Wow if that thing shoots anything like it looks you have a winner on your hands.

Thats a beauty for sure.

Yep that is a pretty girl for sure. Really like that combo of Goncalo and Curly Myrtle. Very striking. We are building one right now for a customer with the same riser combo but with figured Eucalyptus veneer.
Nice pics!

I use tigerwood (goncalvo alves) a lot and am glad to see other bowyers using it. It is pretty but it is also just a great , strong stable wood. Its hard to beat the look of myrtle. Great combination and great looking bow. I would like to see the strung bow though. A complete pic. I have heard that those Orions are great shooting bows and have a static tip.

I'll try to to put one up this eve. when I get home from work, along with one that shows the curly myrtle in the riser a little better. She is absolutely gorgeous!

Beauty! And a shooter. I shot one in the second round of the IBO Worlds. Very friendly bows. As for them guys down in Tejas building them, hear pretty good things bout them too. Mike make a pretty darn good burrito.
