What is the best BH target out there for durability? My old XL block finally got shoot out this year and the black hole I got this summer is shot now also. I need something that will really hold up to a lot of BH shooting.
I am also looking at a Rineharts 18 in 1. I am thinking with the 12 month warrantee it could be a personal challenge to shoot one of those out this year. :archer:

Im cheap I go dumpster diving behind the UPS store and get all the white tight celled foam and duck tape it like a ribbon on a present if you have enough layers it works and is so so so cheap.Thats what I shoot in the house with.

I've only tried a couple but I like the Morrell Yellowjacket broadhead target. I've shot the same one HEAVILY for about 5 years. I know they have a new model now so I can't comment on it but the one I have is the easiest target to pull arrows out of that I have ever used (broadheads, field points pull kinda tough out of it). Good luck with the search.

Has anyone used the repair kit (3-d country, I think) for broadheads? I'm thinking of trying it on a couple of old "block" targets I have around. It's kind of a hard material, I believe.

just a fact that broad heads cut ! if shot closley they cut slivers ------ use small dots all over and you get pretty good life --- shot in the sme hole you get pass thru in a day

Rinehart is a good one. I shoot broadheads 95% of the time and my Rinehart is in great shape. I've had it for about 10 months.

That is good info. You can only shoot it from one face so I think the sealed block would provide more shooting than as tested because you can shoot it from at least one more side. The block would have some core deterioration from shooting the fist face so you wouldn't get the same amount of shooting from the side, but it would extend the number of shots on that target some. Probably would not equal the best target in the end.

I picked up a Rhinehart recently. Seems like it will be a very good target, but the warranty details are restrictive enough that I think I would consider the target to be used up long before I could take advantage of it. You basically have to shoot out all 18 small faces pretty completely.
