How do i calibrate a spine tester to be accurate to a known tested calibrated standardized AMO static spine. Jim

I took a few Different arrows that I already knew the spine weight and use them to adjust the anvil weight on my spine tester   (http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss115/earljeff/spinetester2006.jpg)

Very cool tester I like that you can easily spin the arrow on yours for knock orientation. Jim

The AMO standard is a 2.0# weight on a shaft suspended between 26" centers.  You can measure deflection and compare if to this AMO spine chart.
