Anyone ever used brush buttons on a longbow? The areas I frequent are fairly brushy and I often tend to pick up a bit of vegetation. I can't see why it wouldn't work but thought I'd ask anyway.

Why put them on a long bow? Brush can get wedged between the string and limb tips on a recurve and the brush buttons help stop that, but they serve no purpose on a longbow. The string doesn't touch the limb on a longbow except at the nocks, and it's actually pretty difficult to catch brush at that juncture. Brush buttons might actually trap more brush, and they would just add more weight to the limb tip area.

I would not think that you would get a lot of help from them. They may help a little but they are may add noise and slow your bow down.

I think that since they are at the very end near the limb tip they would create hand shock in the bow.
I don't really think they would serve any purpose either.
