Have any of you guys tried the slick trick 175g xbow or the 145 muzzy? What are your thoughts? Thanks

I have no experience with the 175gr Slick Trick but will tell you that is all I shot with the wheelie bow in 125gr. I started using them when the only way you could get them was directly through the maker. He sent me the first set for free and wouldn't take payment until I was satisfied with them. They are truly the only head that I could get to fly the same as field points and they left a massive hole and easy blood trail. I could post a picture of one deer I shot with one but won't since it wasn't a trad kill. Suffice it to say that there is enough blood that it looks like a crime scene done with a hatchet.

I don't believe the 175gr Trick is completely out in masses yet so most if any probably haven't tried the head.
The regular Tricks are great, but I have never tried one out of a tradbow. I prefer cut on contact.

For whatever reason, 145 grain screw in broadheads are tough to find. So being, I'm going to be testing some Muzzy 145s as soon as I can round a package up...

Tradbow I here you. I have seen some on ****.

I shot an antelope with a 55# Black Widow SA III with a 125 Slick Trick. It made a quick kill, but now I'm using sharp to the tip 125 grain. My next broadhead is going to be a Centaur Big Game Head. L/h single bevel. 219 grain screw in with 100 grain brass insert in Beman MFX classic 400. Should weigh approx. 650 grains.
I think sharpened to the tip will give you better penetration. JMHO.

BowMike you are going to have to tell us about the Centaur big game heads and how they are?

I bought some on the 125gn slick tricks.I use them on my groundhog arrows I keep in the quiver during deer season. They worked well on a couple last fall.I don't use them for deer or hogs however as I feel there a lot better choices in broadheads for them.

I've used slick tricks. I like them, but if you are not shooting a decent poundage, I'd stay away. If you are pulling 50 lbs. or so... NO Problem..
No data, just opinion...
