Sorry I didn't list spec's was in a rush to post photo's and had to leave.
60" Griffin
53@28
Actionboo limbs
Black glass back
Brown glass belly
riser: Kingwood w/ Purpleheart I-beam.
This bow shoots really nice. Also, as the bow ages the purpleheart will become more purple in color. Currently, there is jus a hint of purple, but it will get better with time.

Thanks Guys! It's going to be fun. Have only flung a few arrows but I was quite surprised how well they shot. Considering they were tuned for my 60 pound recurves. The first two arrows were touching and they were two different shafts and point weights. I'll need to ring it out further but initial observations is "I Like It".
As for wait time here is the my story:
I'm not sure what the current wait time is on John's bows. I placed my original order back in 4/2005. John called me around 2/2007 wanting to start the build. However, I was in between projects and had to tell john to put me on the back end of the list. John told me when I was ready, to call him. Well needless to say, three years roll by. I called John to see where I was on the list and he basically said he wanted to get my bow done and me off the list since I paid a deposit.
So here we are. 5yrs for me, but it was self-inflicted. I believe the current wait is around 2yrs but you'd have to call John to verify.

Congrats nice bow

I love the colored glass. It's about all I get any more. That's what traditional was all about back in the day. Got a new Hill Big Five due most any day with gray glass.

With all the bling these days with bows, I thought it would be appropriate going with the two colored glass and making it look like a 50's bear. Too bad you can't get Autumn brown (orange).
