Title: I got a package, my first custom recurve w/pics

December 26 2009, I ordered a Zona Custom takedown recurve. She's 60" #47 @ 28" and #50 @ my 29". The riser is black walnut sandwiched between 2 layers of zebrawood and the limbs are black walnut with zebrawood overlays and limb tips from my first trad kill. Great idea for the limb tips!  First custom with antler from your first trad kill = pretty cool.

Clingish, I ordered it December 26th and got it June 15th.

I had him customize the grip by making it 4 3/4" around so it would fit my little spider monkey hands.

She's a beauty for sure. I'd sure like to put yours and mine next to each other and compare how much Bill has improved from T/D #1 to #41. I'm slowly gathering funds for my third Zona and will be putting my deposit down soon. I'm thinking a T/D longbow maybe 2 sets of limbs 45# and 55#. Good luck with her shes a beauty. Jason
