Anyone shooting the Thunder Child as a two piece takedown and can you post up some pics? Just want some opinions on his two piece bows. I heard that it is a good system.
Thanks,

'Anyone shooting the Thunder Child as a two piece takedown'
I hope to own one soon.

Guys- I only have a few TC two piece bows out there, but they are as rock solid as my two piece Buffalo bows (or one piece for that matter).
It never fails, when they guys take a two piece out to try at the shows, I have to prove that it is a two piece.
thanks, bigjim

I am waiting on a 56" 2 piece thunder child and a 58" buffalo bow right now also. I did a lot of reading before ordering and the few guys I spoke with that owned jims two piece bows loved them.

I have a 56" 2 piece thunder child and love it. I bought it at Cloverdale this year but can't remember the woods, (maybe Big Jim will chime in on that). My buddy ordered one there also with the same woods but 54"

The woods used in Ranger 3 bow is Bocote and Tiger Myrtel. Very nice!!!!

I've got a 56",2piece coming any day now ,Macassar Ebony with Bocote limbs around 55#@27" Can't wait.Have you checked out Jims Website lately with all the old and new pics? If that doesn't get yer heart pumping to order a new bow nothing will!My god the little fellas made some nice bows!

Not seen the 2 pice takedown but shot a 3 piece A friend has and it was very sweet.Fine bows.If the BigMan ever builds a straight end bow I want the first one....RC

Everything in time RC. I have been wanting to design a few new bows, but I will be spending most of my time trying to get caught back up. As some may know, I have lost a few weeks due to equipment troubles. I have corrected that by buying a new lamination grinder (painful expense) and when Grizzly sends my "hopefully repaired" machine back, I will have two just in case.
I have been thinking about a 3 piece thunderchild, a D bow and maybe a short buffalo. I wouldn't hold your breath on any of these for a while though. When I do get back on track, I plan on building a slew of stock bows for next year (I said that last year too).
Thanks for all your support and keep your eyes peeled for my new "BigJim Broadheads".
