Skinned my first one about 15 years ago with Titebond.  Don't remember if it was I or II, if there even was a one.  Was still looking good when I sold the bow last year.

I've skinned about 2 dozen bows with rattlesnake and tightbond 3 and have had no bad results. First one I did about 15 years ago and its still going strong and so are all the others. I'm about to start on a PSA III Widow in a week or so and I'm sure it will be as good as all the rest. Frank

I used a clear satin ureathane by helmsman, the out door stuff on the bow above! i did one up for my buddy two years ago using titebond 2 and sealed up with trueoil! his bow looks the same as it did when i finished her up back then!! I don't like the glossy look on my bows so I use what ever i can to keep a flatter look and still get a good seal!!

I used titebone III and it worked very well. It is their "waterproof" formula. Some stores like Walmart won't have it and a local Ace didn't have it either, but Lowes did have it.

I use Titebond II or III.  Once they are trimmed and ready to finish I put on a coat of Flex Coat then 2-3 coats of clear satin ureathane by Helmsman to take away the shine.  Flex Coat is a two part epoxy that is used by rod builders to finish the guide wraps.  It provides a VERY durable finish that levels well and remains flexible but is too glossy for my taste.
