Where do you order your wood arrows from ?
-
I get my surewood arrows from Joe Lorenzen ( jlfnt )
doug77

I have been using Surewoods of late and get them from Archery Past. I have also purchased Ceders from Kustom King. Sitka Spruce is also good and can be purchased from Hildabrands. Do a search on this site for sponsers and you will find more great vendors to do busisness with.
-
Raptor Archery is a very good source for all kinds of stuff.
-
I bought great shafts from Lost Nation and Raptor Archery. Made arrows, the BEST, Elite!
-
Second Larry at Lost Nation.
-
Third for Lost Nation.. just ordered some yesterday. He's out of certain spines. give him a call. Nice guy and very helpful.
-
Ted at Raptor is great to deal with. I have also ordered from Surewood
-
Tim at Braveheart. Great guy to do business with.
-
The Nocking Point is a great place to deal with and super fast delivery.
I order my super fancy custom shafts from The Feathered Shaft. Both are sponsors here and great to deal with.
Braveheart is another good one. We Have alot of good sponsors here that are awsome to deal with.
-
I havnt ordered any yet but Rick Stillman "Fletcher" makes an awesome arrow and has good prices.Other than that the classifieds.
-
Another vote for Lost Nation Archery for cedars For douglas fir I would use Braveheart archery. Both these fellows are great guys. For finished arrows I agree Rick Stillman makes a killer arrow.
-
Another plug for Rick here. He has convinced me to try Woods on service alone. My first set of fletched 84# Douglas Firs are on their way.
-
Try Bill bonczar at Allegheny Mountain Arrowwoods...great stuff, great service...
-
thefeatheredshaft.com
I bought a dz from him and they are carbon straight and weighted/spined rediculously close.
he is a sponsor and he spends TONS of time straightening so you don't have to!!
Mine are douglas fir
awesome@!

You can get Port Orford Cedar shafts for RoseCity Archery.
They have a website
:archer: :archer:
-
Ted Fry Raptor Archery... Ash shafts.
-
Surewood shafts for doug fir, Raptor Archery for hickory...
-
I get mine from Paul at Badger Arrow as well as Braveheart Archery! Both top notch folks!
-
For finished arrows Kustom King was my favorite, but I haven't tried any from Raptor or the other sponsors. I make my own woodies now.
-
Surewood shafts for doug fir...there's somewhere else?
I got some lodgepoles from Allgeney mountain woods when I was at Denton hill this year.Would do business with them again.
And of course the classifieds.I like saving money on new shafts.

Tons of good arrow crafters on here. A good problem to have. I like to roll my own and gives me and Mason quality father / son time making them. I am done with POC, my last dozen almost drove me insane trying to get them straight and keep them straight while building them. They were purchased as, " Premiums " from RCA. Ordered up a dozen Surewoods firs and think I will stick with them. Tougher, straighter and good weight.
If I was going to buy some from an arrowsmith finished I would use Rick, " Fletcher " on here. Read lots of his posts and he has been a big help to us home gamers trying to build them as nice as he does. Finally got to share a campfire with him at Compton and meet him in person. Fine gent, Fine ! JMHO

The Feathered Shaft. Perfectly straight, perfectly matched spine and within +-2gr. You just can't beat it.

Brian ferguson at allwoodarrows.com makes a geat arrow. and they are a great value. and a great guy to talk to.
-
Paul Jalon at Elite Arrows.
-
Jim Curlee does a nice job too.
-
Jim Curlee Custom Arrows. Pine Island MN. Jim is a friend, fello PBS member and makes a fine arrow. He is always at Kallamazoo.
-
I make my own shafts, but from all I have read on here over the years, all the arrow-making sponsors do great work. And my experience in making shafts and arrows indicates their work is a great bargain.

i'd like to second paul at elite.
