Title: Selway Bow Quiver vs. Skinny Carbons
Post by: ishoot4thrills on July 17, 2010, 02:39:00 PM
My recently acquired Selway Side-Mount quiver isn't holding my Beman MFX Classics very well. After shooting a few arrows out of my bow, I notice the arrows in the bow quiver are starting to slip from the gripper not being tight enough. Selway insists that I have the gripper made for skinny carbons because it has the letter "C" on it.

I have the gripper on TOP in the photo below. Don't I need the one on the bottom to hold my 9/32" Beman MFX Classics?

Doug,

You might try using the little rubber bands that are on braces and put them around each of the holders...  I've known guys to do that and it seemed to work effectively...

I had the same issue and tried the lower holder you showed and it seemed to want to hold the arrows to close to the limb and the feathers would rub... they also didn't stagger the arrows as effectively...

Jonathan

PS I don't have any Selways anymore... if you want to try it PM me an address and I'll try and get it out the first of the week...
