First off the Show was Great. There was lots of people there. There was a lot of Great Stuffed mounts. From Snakes to Red Stags, feeders to Trucks w/lift blinds.
The Wife (Beth) & I took my friends 7yr old kid. He shoot at the Archery for kids and Did real Good with Recurve. He got a trophy for fishing, and did some firearm (razor, paintball) shooting. He Told His Dad, "I'm glad I went... It was fun" That Made My day..
But before that was said. The pain started coming. It started with some pain over my kidney (right-side) I have felt this pain before is no big deal, RIGHT??? Then the pain was hitting my knees, Thinking that's from all the walking...RIGHT??
The pain was bad and I had some med's for pain at home... We got about half way Home when I said, Honey... Pull in to that Hospital. By the time we got to the door I felt I was having a Heart Attack.
I was doing all I could to stay calm for My Wife so she wouldn't freak out.. And because I have a defibrillator in me since I had Heart Valve replaced. At first it showed I had a Attack, I was doing I'm best not to treak out and have Myself shock Me.. That Stuff hurts...
The Heart Doc come in and asked to do a Cardo-cath on me, Well this wouldn't be the first time. I wanted it don't to know everything else was fine, So we did it.. All Test came back Good...
This was brought on by stress. Try and get, NO make time to do some de-stressing. I let it build up and it hit me hart. It scared the living Hell out of Me. I'm ok, the Doc gave me some Med's and right not the only pain is where they did the cath.. No Bow shooting for 2 weeks... I can do that...

It is great to hear that you are doing better. Take care of yourself. We all need some play time, and it sounds like you are not getting your quota.
-
Glad you are doing well.

I am glad things worked out ok...

Sal, glad to hear you are doing better. Thanks for posting this, it is an important message. Since everything sounds like it checked out OK, the only bad bit of news in your story is that you will not be able to shoot your bow for two weeks! Take it easy, take your meds, and check in to TradGang often over the next two weeks so the time will go by quicker for you. Good Luck! John

I plan on it...
