Title: Centaur Owners
Post by: chopx2 on August 27, 2010, 03:58:00 PM
I am on the list to get a new Centaur in Jan.

I am leaning towards a carbon elite because of how it shoots. It will be a T/D, but am having trouble deciding on woods. The dymondwood samples online are terribly inconsistent or hard to picture in a bow.

So can you show me yours and in Jan I'll show you mine    :D

Here's a couple of mine.
Chimera 58" 54@28. Heart Cocobolo and Chechan riser. Riser is inlayed with a Tecovas Jasper arrowhead, grip is stippled as well. Limb veneers are Western Juniper on belly, woven carbon back and has Bighorn Sheep overlays on tips, grip and thumbrest.

Ok so now I am even more confused...I didn't even consider the chimera before, but maybe I should now...

Any Takedown pics?
