Welcome Art...
I really love the passion you put in your Quivers and I have been dreaming up a Quiver that I want to have made by you...I'll get in contact about it with you someday soon ...God Bless and glad you're here...Keefer's <><

Art Vincent? What the heck is he doing here?
Glad to see you here my friend. To any who wonder: Art Vincent is probably the finest leather artiste in Nashville, TN. Come to think of it, that's actually a compliment considering all the leather goods down there! Art has crafted several nice pieces for me over the years, and I treasure every one of them. Bows will come, and bows will go. My collection of Art's leather will always stay.
You still owe me a can (or bottle) koozie! :wavey:
-
From a leather guy myself, Art is "slightly" talented! Glad you are here, great website.
-
I know he would never ask me, so I decided to show a few examples of Art's skill with leather and stitch:

Anyone else have some to show?

I have one of Art's side cruisers for 3-D shooting and I love it. Very nicely done.

Thanks again guys...kevin,,,that deer was to pretty for you...lol. Seriously to find a rack like that on a deer was a once in a lifetime event for sure...I do love doing portraits of harvested critters..yours and Bryon were two exceptional ones I've had the chance to work on. I appreciated the opportunity. Thanks for posting the pictures.
Art
I've done several "can" holders, all with your name or initials on them, but they keep getting filled with a can, a can filled with cold frothy refreshment...Now you know I can't ship a can holder filled with a can of cold refreshment..one of these days I'll get to the Post Office with one, if I ever find it empty. :bigsmyl:

I've got two custom armguards Art did for me about 4 or five years ago- they perform flawlessly- hold up to some nasty cover that has lots of thorns and brambles and still look great..
Worth every penny.

Love the hip quiver and belt. You will not find me at many shoots without it. Here's one from the Reinhart 100:

Sorry for the blurry pic.... Two Hats gets excited when I shoot... You never know where the arrow might end up... :biglaugh:

I "discovered" Arts leather art some years ago, the man has real talent.
Then there was the year at Comptons when I ask him to stay for lunch at my camp. It was just like feeding a stray dog...couldn't get rid of him after that.. :biglaugh:
We've become good friends since then and now he trades leather goods for food..............
just kidding...
-
welcome to Tradgang.Your work is awesome.

Welcome Art!

Art is one of the finest leathersmiths that is around. His work "IS" the finest. I have one of his roving quivers and one day I was out shooting our League shoot at the club I belong to in a pouring rain, any way the quiver was sewn so tightly that it held water. When I turned it up side down taking it off water came pouring out if it and nothing was dripping prior to doing that. His work is done so well you will be able to pass it down to your children when you can no longer shoot, as as heirloom. Art has always treated his customers right and he has very unique touches to his work not found else where. His work is as well done as they appear in his pictures if not more so. Needless to say I love the work he has done for me, you will not find a finer gentleman to work with. DANNY

Danny,
Forgive me for my wandering mind. I just had to imagine an Art Vincent "double-header" on my hip. Rover quiver on right side filled with custom shafts...a 2-can mini cooler on the left filled with crushed ice and..."soft drinks". Nice!
Carry on boys!......

Really attractive stuffs.

Welcome to Trad Gang.
Your work is extraordinary. I hope that someday I will be the owner of some of your work.
-
Yes indeed! I have owned some of his fine work. Art made me the best side quiver (sidestalker) I have ever used. He is a great guy and fine craftsman.
Tony
-
Like the looks of that Stalker quiver.
-
Danny, I'm blushing...thanks very nice of you to take the time to post.
Keven what can I say.....you always stretch me..that sounds like a "rig" to work on. Might consider one of the New Powderhorn Wilderness Stalkers with a tube cooler attachment on the bottom.....for those slow hunting days.
-
The new Powderhorn Wilderness If I can figure out how I will post a picture of it.
-
I'll be ordering one with the hood after the 1st,cant wait.
