i have a striker stinger longbow 58lbs @ 28in and i'm looking for an idea on carbon arrows. right now i'm currently shooting gold tips traditional 55-75 32 1/2 long, but was wondering about something different for shafts. possibly the beman classics or the tradional only shafts. fairly new to traditional archery and would appreciate all comments and ideas. also do the shafts seem long?

Here's a recent thread Striker that might give you some opinions/experiences. Good luck and welcome to the gang.

thanks green.haven't ruled out going back to aluminums either. also should have put in there i wanna shoot a 125gr field tip/broadhead! thanks again

Carbons pay for themselves in the long run....they're either perfect or they're broke...which is hard to do. Aluminum bends, dings, etc. and that ends up not being very cost effective. Plus carbon is quieter in quivers and when drawing on game, and easier to get a high Front of Center config for max penetration.

Cant beat Carbon Express Heritage for toughness and weight, the 250 spine would match your existing spine.

that is true green. pearl drums are you sure the 250 is a good match? whats the weight per inch on those?

I shoot them from a Fatal Styk that is 54# at 30", 31" 250's with a 125 or 145 grain tips, matters not. Fast Flight string, 3/16" beyond center. Are you sure your arows are 32 1/2 long? I dont know any carbons that long from throat of nock to BOP? I may have a bad memory though! PM me if you want, so we dont clutter this up with 2-way conversation.

will get ahold of you later today and thank you for your help.

CX Heritage 250's are 32.5"
