They arrived!!! HH "Robin Hood" and Bama Hunter.
I took them straight out of the box, strung them up(nothing else)'
I shot six arrows (Thanks Snag!)out of each bow at 12 yards.

Congratulations Roy! Looks like Christmas all over again. Nice shooting to boot!! :clapper: :clapper:
What's the specs on the Bama?
-
Vey nice!
-
Nice shooting. Seem to fit and work for you already.
-
Two at once? How did you decide which one to go after first? Hows that HH feel?
-
The Bama is 68" and 50@28.
You are correct, it does feel a lot like Christmas!
Thanks for the kind comments.

Wow, double your pleasure! Glad to see the arrows are liking the bows too.
-
I bet you're sleeping better at night, now!
Congratulations!
-
Roy, We need full draw pix now... Congrats on both bows..
-
That is one dead burlap sack.
Two at once! That's just not fair.

Definitely need a full draw pic. With the hat too.
-
Congrats!!! looks like fun! I don't know if I could handle two at a time?
-
Two beautiful bows Mudd! I'm partial to the Bama, as I have one, and the grain in that Bocote is awesome. When you can I'd be interested in your opinion of how they compare in shooting characteristics. Congrats!
-
Roy,how do they compare and does your Hill have string follow, real curious as to what you think.I suppose we won't hear from ya for awhile your going to be to busy shooting LOL Give us a heads up once in a while!
-
Mudd, you musta been doin sumpthin wrong. If you did everything right you could not possibly have grouped those arrows that way without bare shafting and messing with the nock point, brace height, positive tiller, etc.
You better start ALL over! :saywhat:
-
Nice bows and shooting buddy! Can't wait to see more.
Keeping the Faith!

Nice bows
-
That is awsome Mudd!! Wait... I thought that you were over the bow buying sickness... Some stuff can't be cured!!
God Bless,
Nathan
-
Looks like somebody is a good matchmaker.
-
My initial thoughts are that it's not going to be possible to compare these two bows.
They are as much different as they are alike.
Both need some tuning but I really like them both.
Thanks for the kind comments.

Great Looking Bows Mudd!..... KYArcher
-
Mudd, nice bows you got there. I am a Hill and don't own a Hill yet. That will change. I have a Bama hunter I bought from Nate about a year ago and they are sweet shooters and whisper quiet.
-

and the winner is ?????? :coffee:
they both look great , glad you can get some sleep finally !
-
Great looking bows and great shooting! The only problem is picking which one you gonna' shoot first!
-
To a pretty nice guy, I say, "Those are some nice, purty bows." May you have grand adventures with the both of them!
Notice I did NOT say, "...to a nice, purty guy..."
-
I like the one on the left! Good looking bows Roy.

Great looking bows Mudd. That is some impressive shooting also. contracts
-
Outstanding!
-
Awesome shooting Mudd, Great looking Bows, prefer the Hill. But would like to try a Bama. Only see 11 arrows, did you miss one? Don
-
Nice bows. Congrats
-
I don't know LONGSTYKES, I have 12 in my quiver still and I shot my quiver empty yesterday.
Maybe I missed the target so badly it didn't make it into the picture.. It could happen but if it did I'm sure lost as to how.
Edited: I went back and recounted those in the pictures and get 12 each time. I do have my glasses on. Do you wear glasses?...lol If not you might want to check that out...lol
Maybe I just need to go shoot them again. Hey what a great idea, I'm glad I thought of it.
If I want to do any shooting I'd better get it done soon as we have another winter storm blowing in this afternoon. They are calling for upwards of 6-8 inches.
God bless,Mudd

Yep, I count 12 also. Better go shoot some more just to make sure! :bigsmyl:
-
Nice bows, nice grouping. There is something about those first arrows flying off the shelf of a new bow and hitting their mark. They look like sweet shooters. Good for you, I see a lot of enjoyment in those two bows.
-
Don't know how I missed this one. Two great bows for one great guy!
-
That robinhood bow is SWEET.

I agree!!
Roy, they certainly look like two entirely different bows but both are handsome indeed!
Man, two bows in one day...ah see you have a problem my friend. Fortunately you have initiated the 12 step process.... that'll help you alot!
Now, just shoot 12 arrows each and every morning and there is a slight possibility you will work your way outta this terrible disease.... :saywhat:
-
Mudd..
After seeing quite a few of your posts I gotta say I really like your backstop(s).

Mudd scores!
-
How cool is that? Way!!! I can't believe no one used your famous words on you yet. Way to go Mudd enjoy them.
-
Awesome !
-
Well, I'd say your first shots out of the box went fairly well for you! Nice shooting Mr. Mudd.

 Nice! Good Shooting!
-
They're a beaut Mr Mudd. Congrats
-
Nice!
-
Is that the the Hunter Nate had posted on his website? Nice looking riser with that bocote!
-
In answer to your question ripforce56, no! The one on his website has a slightly dished grip and mine is perfectly straight. As far as I can tell that is the only differences between the two.
God bless,Mudd
PS: Thanks to all for the kind comments.
