Title: Question for Bowyers

I have about 30 bows that I shoot, all longbow and self bows. It is generally pretty easy to go from one to the other except two laminated longbows seem to want a really high nocking point, over an inch. I know some bowyers center the bow at mid grip, others center the bow at the shelf. Could this be the cause, or perhaps miss tillered limbs. All my bows were supposed to be tillered split finger. Any ideas would help.

Really not enough info here Dav for us to answer your question.

Are these glass or all wood laminates?

What's the positive/negative tiller look like?

Find the center of your bows and tell us where your arrow pass is in relation to their center.

Next, try balancing your bows at their dimensional centers on your finger to check you equal limb mass.

Oh, arrow pass should never be at center.......Art
