Huh.  Odd.  Hope they are still going to be selling them in the future.  I really like mine and would like to get a couple more as well as have that option as gifts for people.  Those are nice clothing articles.  I wish they made a zip or button up style coat as well, but that's probably a lot more labor intensive.

Ok now I’m getting worried it’s the mackinaw that I’m waiting on.

Teresa's selections change based on what wool is available, I think.

I wouldn't fret. One should never worry even for a moment when dealing with people with a well-earned reputation for integrity.

I wouldn't worry for a second if your order was already in.

Ain't none of us getting any younger - they may have decided to cut back a bit and enjoy life a tad more.

Hey guys - I just spoke with Teresa  on the phone. Everything is great! The Mackinaw is not going away. She is just in the process of tweaking out her website and inventory a bit. As for the website, she is going from swatch photos to actual shirt photos. That, coupled with the inventory winding down (she buys bulk wool only a couple times a year) caused her to take a few things off the site, albeit temporarily. Stay tuned....about 4 weeks from now there will be some new patterns up, along with some of the old favorites......Mackinaws included!!!

She has been crazy busy lately, what with Kalamazoo, the Waterloo show coming up (they will be there), and tending to the massive popularity of her awesome wool......good things are ahead boys!!!!

Good to hear they are still going to make them.  I have several of their pull-overs, including a heavy mackinaw.  Good stuff and it blends in well with the fall woods.

Wish I would have bought wool yrs ago. Been to a few 3d shoots this winter with temps in the low 20's wearing nothing but light weight poly pro shirt, flannle shirt, Mackinaw and cabela's outfitters wool pants and worked up a sweat.
Cant wiat til hunting season this yr. Will be nice hunting and not being bulked down in layers looking like the staypuff marshmellow man....lol

@Drakho: Didn't get my items, nor response to my emails. After 8 weeks I contacted paypal to get my money back. Seems to me they don't like shipping to Europe.

I had picked one for myself and wanted my wife to pick hers when the choice was narrowed down.

Glad to hear more will be coming.

I'll wait since I'm not in a rush at all.

I got a hooded pull-over and a non-hooded vest last season for warmth and they really help out. Never had to wear a jacket last season.

Am going to get a couple more this yr. especially something for early archery season in Southern, Il. Just waiting on selections to be posted.

Mossy Oak Obsession blends good in the woods I hunt during Oct. and am looking for something in a wool that is a similar color.

FYI for those thinking of ordering.
Just received 2 new hoodies. So now i have a grey mackinaw, brown shirt, northern lights hoody and skyline hoody.
Each material is of different weights.
The mackinaw is the heaviest. You will feel no wind even on real cold days.
Brown shirt is next. Wife wears it to 3d shoots and stays warm. This is a woman that wants the thermostat set to 72 and still sleep with an electric planket. That was in temps of mid 30's.
Still no wind gets through.
Next is the skyline then northern lights. For me these will be great for mid 40's up.
Love them all. :-)
Again, It is soo nice wearing half the clothes and staying warmer.

That was one of the things I was wondering about. Do they keep the wind out or do I have to wear/ buy a windproof top to put on under it??

I have a hooded vest in plaid and just got a solid grey pullover without the hood just before Christmas.  I wore the solid pullover as an outer layer several times in colder weather here in Alabama and stayed nice and warm.  The nice thing about the pullovers is that they are indeed designed for bowhunters.  The sleeves fit close to the arm without any bulging that could catch the string.  Excellent products!!

It's like any wool product trapping air as part of the insulation process but really doesn't cut wind on its' own. It always is my last or 2nd to the last layer so I never notice any wind that might get through because I usually have 3 to 4 layers below that including another wool shirt.

"The nice thing about the pullovers is that they are indeed designed for bowhunters. The sleeves fit close to the arm without any bulging that could catch the string. Excellent products!!"

Exactly! The problem with most cold weather clothing is the arm pit area interfering with a canted stickbow. They are made for us!

I WOULD LIKE TO GET A WOOL PULL-OVER BUT I SEE THEY ARE ONLY IN 2X. IM A 3X PERSON, BUT IF THE 2X RUNS BIG, IT WILL WORK. DO THEY MAKE 3X?

I think their sizes run big so maybe the 2x will work for you? Email or phone them to find out...

I've finally received my pullovers and mackinaws, as well as a wool bag and the last GFA book.

Very nice, comfortable and warm clothes, the bag is well built and the book... I have to read it but I'm currently reading "Stalking and still hunting"  :D
