Title: magnus 4 blade question here??

I was wondering about the magnus 4 blade(not stingers) broadhead.. I have looked for some input on previous threads but did not find what I was looking for. I was wondering if they whistled in flight... I have shot the snuffers SS and they whistled... The stingers did not but I like the look of the larger bleeder blades on the the black heads.. Thanks ahead of time for the feedback...

I shot magnus 4 blade two years ago.
They were quit IMO
These were the black vented with the removable bleeder.
I did not like the way the bleeder locked in though.
I switched to a fixed bleeder.

I shoot mainly Magnus I 4-bladers. I've never heard a whisper from any of them. Totally silent.

I used them years ago and they were quiet.

They are usually silent.  If they are not, the bleeder blade slot is generally the culprit.  Smearing a little Chap Stick or bow string wax into the bleeder slot ahead of the installed bleeder will eliminate it.

Eclipse 4 blades will do the same thing once in a while.

Cnorth, Mine only whistled when I shot them without the bleeders. But if you put a little scotch tape over the slots they quiet down...Bobby

i got some magnus IIs with bleeders and they seem quiet. plus they leave a big hole.

I have been shooting them for years. I have never had any whisle. I shoot magnus II 4 blade, sometimes with or withouy the bleeders with no problems.
