I have a pr of Brown glass limbs for a Groves 3 -piece recurve TD. Wedge looks like Bocote but I do not know what the core wood is. on the bottom limb is has "May III" 55# @ 28" and 62". Matching number on the limbs is B9471-7N and the other T9471-7N. Have no idea if these are specific to one riser or can be used with any Groves riser. When my father passed away he had a Groves TD bow which I sold several years ago not knowing he had a spare set of limbs. Anyone know if there are specific to one riser or can be used on any Groves TD recurve?

Contact AKbowbender, he is knowledgeable of such things....

The wood core on all Groves bows is maple.
The limbs sound like the ones that go with the metal riser that Groves used which was a Proline. If these are those types of limbs then they will only fit a Proline riser. If you could post a pic I could tell you a lot more.

I will take pics and post them lalter today.

Steve: those limbs do not go on the metal riser. They would fit a standard Groves wood riser and could be used on either a righty or lefty.

Steve, Those limbs fit the Groves Spitfire Mag 3 just like the one i have. Outstanding bow.
