Recently picked up a Holm-Made longbow and to say I am impressed is an understatement. I've been a recurve guy but will try a longbow now and then. I would like to let everyone know that these bows are excellent shooters and even more importantly, they are extremely reasonably priced. Anyone looking for a great shooting longbow should consider, no, they should buy a Holm-Made longbow...Very Nice!!!!!!!!

Chad is a very stand up guy. I have not shot one of his bows...YET...but it is on my list of things to do at the next Kalamazoo show.
-
Don't wait until next January to try one...buy one, used and try it. They are great bows!
-
I would like to find a used Lefty Take-Down Orion around 50 lbs. I have heard really good things about Chad's bows!
-
I own one of Chad's River Runner recurves and one of his Osprey longbows. Great bows that shoot as well as any out there!
-
Have had a used River Runner for about a year and just got a built for me Osprey.....fantastic!!

But Dan,
Not everyone is as nice as I am !
you got a very good deal from me.
But you're not going to get my other osprey !
I really enjoy it .
And Chad is a very good fellow to work with .I am fortunate to be able to drive up to his place. And he is spent the average of 2 to 3 hours with me for each bow,To make sure that it was right for me .
And you're right about January ,He is getting too popular ! prices are gonna go through the ceiling
Buy now ,Buy now

Chad is a great guy and builds a great bow. I really enjoyed sharing a hunting camp with him, and I love the Osprey he built for me.

I second everybodies opinion on the Osprey longbow. I bought mine at Denton Hill last summer. Great bow!

I was able to pick up a used Osprey longbow and let me say I am well pleased with it. I have shot a bunch of bow in my 50 + years of shooting and would put this Osprey right at the top of the list. Smooth draw, quick, quite and soft in the hand
-
Thanks for the nice words. Hope you enjoy your time afield carrying your Osprey. Chad

I am finding mine to be an outstanding bow. It is 62" and I am drawing 31" with no issue or discomfort. Smooth, stable, accurate bow in my hands.

Can't agree more, a fast, smooth shooting bow.
I took the Osprey I received on Monday to a 3D shoot on Saturday, and scored the highest score I have ever had in 3D. Great shooting bows.

Chad builds a heck of a nice bow!

Shot Chad's bows at KaZoo. Your spot on with your review, great shooters, great value.
-
I like both of my buddie's bows. 1 river runner and 1 osprey.

Have been shooting recurves for a long time. I tried out both the straight and the recurve at Chad's factory. I bought the recurve, probably due to familiarity and am very satisfied with it. The River-runner recurve is not a center shot, so I did adjust to the change by going from 125 to 175 tips. Works well now.

I'm wanting one of these more and more.

I have traded around and bought new longbows and recurves(too many according to my wife). The Holm-Made River Runner 58" 51@28 will not leave!!! Fits me better and I just plain shoot it better than any other bow I have owned. Chad makes one heck of a bow that is worth a try. You will be impressed!

I like my Osprey so much that it kept me from buying another bow tonight.
