Here's a link to his Home Page. There is a link to the Slideshow on it. He also has a link on the Drop-Down menu above.

Make sure you set aside at least twice as much time as you think you need.  Watching that slideshow is mesmerizing to anyone who like nice bows and pretty wood.

I've got this Dalmation Ebony Buffalo bow, and I'm on the list for a 2pc Thunder Child. There are a number of pics of this bow in the Slide Show.

Kip, (Coaster500) has a serious collection of Jim's bows.

im on the list for a mid April delivery. I wish Jim would call me for the details so that I could stop changing my mind. I really like the dalmation or the black + white ebony.

Hey Dan or Kip how about selling me one of your Buffs because it's a law that you can't have more than 2 Big Jim bows at a time!     :readit:    :biglaugh:

Kenneth, you're going to have to lean on Kip for one of his, I only have one right now. (Good Luck with that!) Lol!

Sawtoothscream--It's only hard waiting on the first one. Not only do you have one to keep you company during the wait, but you know what an awesome bow will be coming your way in time. That's a major reward for patience.

I guess I'm still within the legal limit Kenneth I've only got two Buffs and two TCs   :dunno:

Kip, I'm afraid I'm going to have to report you to the "Social Injustice Police".  :scared:

Being as there are thousands of people waiting on a Big Jim bow, and you have 4, I see a clear need for some 'Redistribution'.   :bigsmyl:

Enjoy!

This thread is not helping my wait for my bow, which I believe to be in the building stage right now or very soon. I will be very happy when my bow is part of that slide show, but until then, I can only stand by as an observer rather than a participant. I have never been known for my patience, and this ain't helping!!!

Centaur, all these Big Jim threads are part of a "Vast TradGang Conspiracy" to torment you. I can't take the guilt anymore, I just had to fess-up!

Seroiusly though, I inderstand. I don't do waiting very well myself. Kip and Steve Clandinin helped me thru it in PM's during my first wait. We exchanged specs, pics of wood choices etc until delivery day. Kip is a Rock, but Steve and I waivered at times.

You'll love the bow and I can't wait to see you posting pics of her.

LOL,They say patience is a virtue.Obviously that fella was never waiting for a Big Jim.The worst time is when jim sends your pictures of the completed bow and it will be in the mail tommorrow. In Canada I think the customs guys purposly hold back my stuff !LOL

You are all right, Jim bows are an obsession but as far as being patient, NOT !! I just love the way Jim uncovers the treasures that God built into the woods. I get to enjoy both their function and beauty.

The slideshow was just therapy ….

Just got a soft spot for these bows?

Centaur, if you don't get your bow soon I'll ship you one of mine to play with until yours is done... hang in there my friend the wait is well worth it  :)

Steve I've mailed and received mail from Canada and I don't envy your having to deal with how slow it can go at times  :(

Kip,Your so right, buying a Big Jim isn't just a purchase,Its an experience. Its a complete process, decisions on models,Wood choices,Talking with the little Fella,Waiting and then .....It finally arrives,You've been dreaming it ,hunting it,your mouth is dry and your fingers don't work to get the box open,and..........there she be! The most Purdy you've ever seen!I just sat on my rear and stared, for quite a while, like when I shoot a big deer and admire the Masterpiece.AAAh yes it IS an experience.

Steve, I hear most of those Canadian Customs guys are Bowhunters and know what those long boxes are about. I wouldn't want to sling accusations around, but if the new string that comes with a bow is already shot-in, well, Just Sayin'.   :bigsmyl:
