I am kinda lost here. I bareshafted fine at 20 and 25 yards. The arrows grouped togather.
Now when I am shooting I am getting some up down on the tail/nock end of the arrow?
Any suggestions? Adjust the nock height some? Up or down?
Set up shooting 3 under
Wing Slim line pro
45@28
27 draw/125 gr points 28 1/2 53 spine wood arrow
503 grains avg arrow weight
Current nock height.... Just a hair above 1/2"
Thanks,
James

If its kicking up try raising your nocking point slightly. The reverse is true if its kicking down.

The side kick be sure feather agenst rest is lined up to go into crease of rest and side plate. Had this happen to me once problem went away when feather was not hitting side plate.

1/2" would be a little low for me for 3 under. You might want to try 5/8".
If your bareshafts flew well, but your fletched arrows have a bounce, it could be feather or quill contact with the shelf or riser. Moving the nock point up could also help eliminate this. Also, if the arrows are too stiff, you can get a bounce from feather or quill contact with the riser.
You could try trimming the feathers down to the quill on one of your arrows, and then dabbing lipstick or something on the quills next to the shelf and riser, and then observing if any lipstick is rubbing off on the shelf or riser when you shoot the bow. If so, you can try rotating your nocks a little to get clearance, or trying a slightly weaker arrow if you're getting riser contact.

I will try raising it a bit more and see what happens. Will report back.

I agree with raising nock point up, mine was close to 3/4 when I shot three under.

Before you move the nocking point, try turning the cock feather in. That will tell you if it's a clearance problem, and you can continue to shoot them that way if it clears up the problem.

Will do. Have not had a chance to shoot since the wife parked on my range......

Open the cars windows and shoot through the car. Should stop the parking problem. Although you may need to find a new place to live.
