More of a little photo comparison for folks.
I've been using the Lone Wolf hand climber for several years, but wanted to try something new this season that was a bit more comfortable to sit in.
I chose the Tree Walker based on the reviews I'd found on the various boards.
I've only climbed in the back yard with it so far, but I can tell you it seems very solid on the tree (it bites in hard as you'll see in the pics, but the tree doesn't seem the worse for wear). It's also about 10X more comfortable to sit in than my Lone Wolf.
The draw back of the Tree Walker is that the Lone Wolf packs much more flat and is about 2 lbs lighter. The Lone Wolf (mine is an older USA made model) weighs-in at 17.5 lbs. The Tree Walker (also made in the USA by the way clocked-in at 19.5, there is also a detachable bar that came with the stand so it could be used as a sit-n-climb that takes it right to 20 lbs.)
The net seat on the Tree Walker is very comfortable and you don't sink down in the seat much at all, so the arms you see in the pic basically run along your thighs.
The Tree Walker sets up just as fast as the Lone Wolf and has a wider adjustment range than the Lone Wolf (according the the marketing copy). Both are rated to 350 lbs.
If you've been using something comfortable all along, you may not see a big difference. But if you've been using something like my Lone Wolf, there's a BIG difference in comfort.
Just depends on what you're looking for.

Can you post some pics of you shooting out of it? Does that bar interfere with your bow?

While I certainly notice the bars are there (which is open space on the lone wolf), and you can't swing your bow through that space (which you can with the LW) .... it doesn't seem to be an actual concern.
Once you stand and/or extend your bow arm, you're past the bars. You'd probably notice them if you were trying to shoot straight down while sitting.

Thanks for posting this. I had not heard of the Treewalker. I have been using a LW sit and climb and have liked it but I love the net seats and may have to try the Treewalker. How about noise? I have had stands with expanded metal grating that would creak and pop particularly when cold. The LW are expensive; how does the Treewalker compare in price?

You should have tried the Lone wolf sit and climb.I can sit in mine all day and i'm no spring chicken.

As for pricing, it was $340 delivered (299 plus shipping), so not cheap, but not the most expensive either.
It seems quiet to me (of course it doesn't get too cold in NC anyhow). The platform is a heavy grating; not like the metal 'slats' on Summits.

The grating isn't flat, but has a textured surface; perhaps hard to see in the pics.
You can see the carry straps are attached via hard clips attached to the platform. That will need to be changed, as stepping on them will produce noise.

I have a buddy that has the LW sit-n-climb, and I wasn't interested in it.

I will say, the Tree Walker has a little bungee 'safety' cord on the seat that, IMO, is useless. It's not very intuitive, and it's already popped loose a couple of times. A small piece of cord wrapped around the tree and tied to the frame will work better.
The harness that came with it, while robust, went right in a drawer. By the time you got in to it you'd need a nap.
It also came with a long nylon strap loop (probably 18' in circumference) that I have no idea what it's for.

I've had a treewalker for a couple years. Mine has a bar across the front that cannot be removed. It's a very comfortable, quiet stand. That being said, I prefer my LW sit and climb for traditional archery, just because I'm more comfortable shooting a bow with open space around me. If I'm not using a trad bow, the TW goes to the woods.

The profile of the treewalker looks pretty huge compared to the LW for packing. I really don't find my LW uncomfortable, but then again I have never sat in it for more than 4 hours

looks good. i have been trying to decide on a new stand set up. i have a old steel summit viper that wieghs a ton. most comfortable thing to site in back the walk in kills ya. I tried the summit open shot and wow that sucker is lite wieght and the seat was really comfortable. might go the fixed stand and sticks route though so idk what i want. need to hurry up and decide

Can't net seats be added to a LW sit/climb? Anyone tried this?

Does the bars in the back of the seat area stick in your back?
How easy does it climb up and down the tree?

I put an O'l Man net seat on my LW sit'n'climb, NICE and comfy :) and quiet. I also took off the "sit" bar and replaced it with a seat-belt strap and hook and lost a pound of weight to boot. I only fold my LW up when packing in the truck. It's unfolded when it's on my back to hunt. No stand is perfect - just customize them to fit you - Hunt safe!
