Yep, got the call last Thursday from Roger that the bow shipped and should be here Monday. I live in a small town and ups doesn't get by the house til around 6pm. Guess I am going to be hunting my driver about 10 in the morn. Pics to come.

Nice what flavor of x did you get?
Enjoy it and BTW threads like this are useless without pictures!

I shot a PCH for the first time two weeks ago at Cloverdale. I was impressed, and pretty sure I'll own one some day. How long did it take to get yours?
-
Hey Spurs good for you!
Looking forward to hearing how you like it and seeing some pics. Go hunt down that big brown truck!

CONGRATS!!! :clapper:

Ok big brown truck was a little harder to stalk than I thought. Having computer troubles so we will see how far this goes before I have to reboot.

Thought this adds to the suspense.

Way to hunt that baby down!
Now do the right thing and take it home, document the unpacking and assembly and post the pics for us before you do anything selfish like shooting it or anything. :)
The sight of that brown truck gave me a shiver, I'm expecting my first Widow, a PCH also, in about two weeks!
Oh, and that spider has to be a good omen.

Ok so I'm not as good as keeping folks waiting as some of these seasoned pro's. Here she is.!!

I hand picked the veneers. I wanted really tight grain bocote. The specs are 58" PCHX Bocote, 57#@28" with low grip and laser overlays. Well, I havne't shot her and it may be a while before I get to, but thought I would share. Thanks to all the guys at Black Widow for truly making this a wonderful experience. Also thanks to all of you guys here that helped me tune my specs while ordering. Couldn't have done it without you.

Fine bow!!!! love it
-
Very nice,congrats.
-
Wonderful selection of woods.
A lttle apprehensive to run one at Twin Oaks.
It is amazing how a simple trial run even if it is only out of curiousity - suprisingly turns out to be an enlightening experience and then an expensive endeavor. But, then again that's what many of us Trad Guys find rising to the surface from within when a dream match is encounered.
Congrats and please let us know how the two of you agree once acclimated.

I love my PSAX , it just shoots where I look and you cant always find a bow that will do that . BTW Widows love heavy arrows so give them a try , I really like the Heritage CX 250 with 200 grains up front for a heavy tough arrow .
-
Great looking bow
Bill

Congrats

That is the best looking widow i'v seen yet!!!
-
Wow, that is a looker! I love Widows, I am shooting a 56 inch PCHX as well. So far it is my favorite bow.

Whew -- I thought I was the only one crazy enough to hunt down the UPS truck!
-
Hunting the ups truck is the most fun part!!!
-
Wow !
Nice bow :) congrats
-
That is a very good looking widow.
-
Great looking X. I am waiting for my new PSA now. I hope it is early... Ha Ha. I am on week 5.5 now.
Anyhow my new BW will be a Zircote riser (no red or white) and Myrtle limb veneers that I also picked out.
By the way, I have owned a PSA3 for about 7 years. From the start it has prooved itself hunting all kinds of critters. Out of all the bows I have owned, it has been the one bow that fit me best and what I am most consistant with. This X bow will be my 3d bow, my old PSA3 will continue to accompany me in the woods.
Congrats,
Bill
