Expect the unexpected! Did it at least make it into the scoring rings? Been there done that on a brand new set of arrows!

Lost 3 a couple of weeks ago, same circumstances

I can tell you it's heart breaking.... I did about the same thing earlier this summer. At my first tournament this year, I managed to finish the course without even dinging an arrows. As we came off the range the club had a novelty shoot (five shot for two dollars) at a running boar. Needless to say on the fourth shot I railroaded my second arrow.

I've done that myself. Last year, I did that to a buddy's arrow, while shooting in his back yard. He wasn't amused.

Good shot...I think.

I was at a 3d shoot last Tuesday and robin hooded the arrow of the guy Jeff that was shooting with us. Turns out he owned that Archery shop that hosted the 3d shoot, and made a joke that I needed to do that to OTHER people's arrows so that he could make some $$$.

I did have a spare.I had just made these and this was the first shoot I had taken them to.Happened on the 2nd target. Both arrows made it in the scoring rings.I have a new trophy to hang on the bow rack now lol

Just wrapped and fletched some brand new Heritage for hunting season and this happened! It was the first arrow, didn't penetrate all the way and was hanging. Second arrow, smack right in the other shaft and I new it was broke! I should have known not to shoot at the same spot but I'm stupid like that I guess.
