What is yalls review on the montana longbow
-
i have one as do a slue of other people cause they're so economical. Mine is 50 @ 28". Its a great and easy way to get your foot in the door of the traditional equipment. It can take quite a beating. A lot of people file down the nocks because they're pretty thick and the extra mass diminishes the cast. But it's great. Not much hand shock. Its really quiet. The black fiberglass back and belly scratches easily though, and the grip and arrow rest that comes with it is really cheap and will fall apart quickly.

I have one of the older ones. It shoots fine and if it gets scratched I do not mind. I have it as back up and my son shoots it at trad shoots. He pulls it to 31 inches with no side effects on him or the bow.

I've had a Montana Longbow for two years and love it. The long knock tips actually are an advantage if you use a bow stringer as the top stringer pocket stays clear of the knock. I know a coulple of other archers with Mt. Lb's and they are very happy with them.
