Title: Help...Essential Encounters DVD issue
Post by: azhunter on September 19, 2011, 07:18:00 PM
I just got the Essential Encounters DVD. Cannot wait to see it but....when I put it in the DVD it goes directly to the bonus feature section. There is no option to play movie as with most videos. I can scroll through the bonus feature but cannot get to the main movie. Have put it in and out of the DVD several times and it always goes to bonus features. Have hit menu, fast forward, skip etc.  Have never had problems with any DVDs in the past. The brothers of the bow site does not appear to have a telephone number listed unless I missed it. Sent one of the Wensels a Pm. Maybe they will reply. Have any of you had this problem with your DVD?
Thanks

Mine is a 2 disc set. There is one disc with just bonus features, and another with the movie on it.

The main feature is on disc #1, the one with the image of the huge shed.  Disc #2 (eagle feather image) is bonus features only.

Mark: As the others above have stated, it's a two disc set. Obviously they forgot to include the first disc when it was packaged. It's only happened one other time that I know of but I guess we need to expect this sort of thing once in awhile during high production packaging. You were just the unfortunate one. We'll send you a new one with our apologies. PM me at [email protected] if you don't receive it shortly. Thanks. BW

It's my dumb mistake. I do have 2 disks. I didn't even notice the second disc. I will PM you and if you have sent me another one I will return this one with the postage costs. My apologies.

azhunter,

It's good to hear you came out OK.  I KNOW you will enjoy the Encounters DVD.

You thread did two things, though.  1) It showed how concerned Barry and the Brothers of the Bow are to make sure their customers are taken care of. 2) It reminded me to get out my copy of Essential Encounters and watch it again!  Made for an enjoyable night, and I thank you.

This is amazing work, and BEAUTIFUL footage and editing.  Thanks Wenzel/Mittens!!!

We have had some folks say they can't find or return to the menu. Some remotes have a special button that will return you to the main menu.

Thank you all who appreciated this production. It truly was a family effort for us.  Mike

Mike,
I'm still trying to figure out how you carried them two bucks out on your shoulders by yourself? Maybe that was Barry we saw at the end of Primal Dreams hauling them out?  :biglaugh:

If it was Barry, then we used those skinny mirrors that you see at the carnival. LOl

The video is fantastic. Beyond my wildest immaginations. The only problem is that I was too dumb to see I had 2 disks. One for the main video and one for the extras.
