First off hats off to Ron at KME above and beyond customer service! I just got off the phone with him and he walked me through sharpening with the broadhead sharpener and knife sharpener it took over a hour but I sharpened a broadhead shaving sharp. Also thanks to Mike Vines for his tips in advance of my call with Ron to get the file on em for stock removal first.
If you were sharpening deficient like me get a KME product and the great support that goes with it! (BTW not on payroll at KME unless he needs a staff hunter that specialzes in putting face paint on and taking naps in the woods!)

Awesome news! Ron is "da man"!

It takes very little time once you realize that the stones are just there to "polish" the cutting edge. The file does an awesome job of removing excess material to reveal just the cutting edge that you are actually wanting to sharpen.
Now just remember what you Did for next year Andrew. Now go kill something with them.

I have some Magnus Stingers and they are sharp out of the box. If I want to get them even sharper with a KME sharpner do I still need to remove 'stock' with a file?

No,don't touch them with a file. They already have a nice clean edge.Just use the finest stone, take your time and very light pressure.
