I really like 4-blade Zwickeys.  Very nice holes, blood trails, but I don't have pix.

Probably 90% three blade here with the Wensel Woodsman but I also have other bows and arrows set up with one carrying Zwickey 4 bladers.  I love the wide 4 blade Zwickeys because I can get them rediculously sharp and I like the solid bleeders.  Have only shot one deer with them but the blood trail was great.  Although I think any broadhed would have done the same where I hit the deer.  No picks of blood, sorry

Magnus 1 4-bladers for me. Between them & Zwickey Delta 4-blade, I'm good to go.

Randy, aka ferretwyo, has used 4 blade stingers for yrs.  He has taken plenty of BIG critters with them.  Not sure if he switched this yr but his elk hunting got hurt by our boss, Uncle Sam.

Results look great, I just have never had the need for more than two blades, grouse to bison.
But that sure doesnt mean I woudn't use them. Great pics.

thank you everybody for all the responses. what would be the lowest draw weight you would use with a four blade and still expect good pentration?

On deer sized game I have gotten complete pass-thru with both Zwickey Eskimo 4-blade and Bear Razorheads (with the bleeder blades) with 46-47 pound bows.  My shots were under 20 yards and I stuck 'em in the ribs.

I have been shooting the VPA 3 blade but the 4 blade stinger is always on hand. It's a great broadhead.

Terry    Jerry (Orion)

can you give us some pointers on sharpening them buggers.  I still have a bunch,  and I love Zwickies, but I can't use them on a sharpening jig and am not quite as good at making them real sharp by hand filing.

I used a 4 blade Magnus Buzzcut this weekend. One of the better blood trails I've ever had.

Shot this little gal tonight with a wide Zwickey 4 blade.  Not sure what they are called but I can get them really sharp and obviously they work pretty well.  I will say that I am begining to believe when you center punch the pump they do not spill much on the ground?  I am guessing because, well, they have no pump.  Fortunately she ran about 40 yards down the trail I walk in on and was really easy to find.  Not to say there was no blood on the ground but on all my heart shots it is nothing like a good ole DBL lunger.  I do like seeing the x in the heart when you pull it out though!

I have shot a boar and a bison with an Eclipse 4 blade, muledeer and black bear with a Zephyr Sausquatch 4 blade, and I have some 220 grain Muzzy phantoms that I haven't got a chance to try on a critter yet.

That is exactly what it looked like Charlie.  I guess I could pull it out of the frig and take a photo but I have it soaking in a salt brine to extract the blood before I prepare it for tonights dinner simmered with peppers and onions in an alfredo sauce over rigatoni.  Can't wait - may have to take a pic of dinner to get you all drooling!
