Title: WV opening day
Post by: sswv on October 02, 2011, 03:14:00 PM: no joke gang...it was 35 degrees and pouring the snow at 9:30 yesterday morning when I dropped the string on this buck. there were two of them and the other was almost right under me when I shot this one. my Bob Lee takedown longbow is 56"s and 47#s. Got a pass thru (hit both lungs)with a 450 grain Gold Tip. man them Muzzy Phantons do a job. sorry about the date on the pic. I'm really gonna fix that on my camera.

I stalked to within 40 yards of two nice bucks bedded yesterday before I made a wrong move and they saw me.
It was nasty up this way too, but it made for good slipping.
