Title: Anyone heard of a Tyson Watts bow
Post by: archerybuff on October 08, 2011, 04:40:00 PM
I am not sure of the spelling but I was wondering if anyone can remember a bow that was made in the 60's or 70's by the name Tyson Watts.

I have never seen one, but I have read about them in the Bowhunter magazine in the 70's. If I recall, a hunter from Maine wrote a story about using a 60# or 65# Tice & Watts recurve to shoot a "Thingamabob" (woodchuck).

Ah Tice and Watts.......Hey thanks for that info. I hunt with a person that had one years ago. He really loved that bow and talks about it all the time. Thought I would do some research and see if there was one out there somewhere. Thanks for the help guys.

Tice & Watts. Probably the best shooting bow I ever owned. Knocked it out of a tree stand & broke the bottom limb. Still makes me want to cry.

Desinged and built in Huntsville, AL by Lovell Tice and Bill Watts using NASA computers during their off hours. Very fine shooting bows, fast.

Here's two both Spartan Hunters Mark I. One is 60", 55# factory camo and the othe 58", 50# and goncoalve.
