Usually by this time of year there are alot of rubs and some scrapes made in the area I hunt but not this year.
Wondering if it could be if it's because of the almost non existiant acorn crop. I do see does on just about every time I'm out and have even seen 2 diffrent black bears since early September when our season opened.
Any of you guys have an opinion?

Interesting point . My son and I hunted our area in N central PA last weekend first time EVER saw no rubs in the entire area this time of the year . Plenty of acorns, and beechnuts around . BUT NO RUBS no bucks either saw does between us but no bucks CURIOUS

Finding a good number of both here in GA in the last few days.

Been seeing scrapes since early sept here. Few rubs here n there.

completely opposite here, ive never seen so many rubs and scrapes, especially scrapes!

More rubs that usual here and a few scrapes in September, but not really seeing a lot of scrapes yet. I think rubs depend a lot on where the bucks have their core area in the summer. Some years we have more buck hanging out and some more does. Soon they will be spreading out and you should see more rubs and scraps around.

I have only seen one or two rubs, but I can't believe I saw a buck chasing a doe already

Just now starting to see a few rubs on the areas I hunt and a few small scrapes are showing up.
Definately not the truck hood size rut activity scrapes yet.

I hunted wildcat ridge last friday saw about
6 or 7 rubs and no scrapes.

seeing rubs and tons of acorns in sj

I have seen not rubs, but the start of one small scrape. Been seeing bucks together, and one small six point that had a doe and two yearlings with him. Not sure what is going on around here either. Nothing seems to be feeding on the acorns in any general area.

i have not seen a rub yet either in my area, hopefully soon.
