I ordered a new Whip from Dan last Tuesday and Dan called last night and told me it will ship next Friday. Cocobolo riser, Bamboo cores and gnarly Bocote overlays under clear glass. 60" and 50# @ 28". I can't wait..Pics to follow.
Dan, if you read this and can post pics of my new prize, feel free. Thanks for such a quick build.

You are going to love it. And the wood combo and specs are perfect for me should you grow tired of it.
Enjoy it.

Whip's are outstanding bows in every respect....you'll be more than happy. Good luck waiting a week!
I bought a used one on the classifieds here several months back. A week later I called Dan....you'd have thought I'd custom ordered 3 bows from him with the time he spent with me on the phone and the expertise he shared. He's one of the best.

Doug, you'll have to post up pics when you get it.

I own 3 whips and a recurve of Dan's. I keep trying others, but for me they are the perfect hunting bow. Smooth, quiet and deadly.
-
 Love the Whips! Pictures please.

Ever since I sold my T/D Whip to TxAg, I have regretted it. I am amazed at the light mass weight if the Whip and yet the authority, in which it casts an arrow. I am really looking forward to this new Whip. I'll post pics in a about 10 days, when it arrives.
Good shoot'in.

Love the whip. I have one coming in today I hope. Will post pics when I get it. Its close to Doug's 60" 51# @ 28". Maple and Bamboo core. Can't wait.

Toelke bows are the only bows that I shoot, not only does Dan build a great bow but he is also one of the nicest people that I have had the pleasure to do business with. The last bow that I ordered from Dan was finished and shipped to me in 6 days. I currently own a Lynx (with longbow and recurve limbs) a curlew, and a whip. I am not sure which one is my favorite, they are all unique in different ways. I seem to be shooting my whip more than anything else. The nice thing is that all of the bows shoot where I look, and going back and forth is easy.

Thanks guys. Great pics and great comments. The wait is agonizing. At least I didn't have to wait several weeks or even months to get it. I'm trying not to think about it much but it always in there, counting the days. Just over a week to go.

Well mine came in and it was everything I hoped for. It is light, quick, shoots where I'm looking and super quiet. Doug, I wish you a short wait. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Dan's grip on the Whip is what really sold me on his bows. It references to my hand in the same way everytime. Of course, like others have said, they do shoot where you look and are quiet.

Dan is a class act for sure and a true artist.

Only had a couple of minutes to shoot it but man, does it whip an arrow (Pun Intended). 60" and 50# @ 28" Cocobolo riser with Bocote venners over Bamboo.
Dan is the Man!

That looks sharp!

She shoots great too. Dan said he (actually his son and son-in-law) redesigned the limbs on the Whip with a bit more reflex at the limb tips and man, does this things zip and arrow. I can't believe how fast it is. I'm hop'in to have some bloody arrow very soon with the help of my Whip.
Thanks.
