I would highly recommend Steve Catts. I had Steve build me his Classic quiver this year and really like the design and functionality. They are not cheap but Steve makes a very nice high quality back quiver.

I love my Howard Hill Archery back quiver.  Mine is the stiff leather version, which has molded nicely to my back and stands up on its own.  Works just as it should once you get it adjusted properly.

I just got my first back quiver earlier this month. I've only used it in the back yard so far but I think I like it. It may not completely replace my bow quivers but it will definitely have it's place.

I have the exact same quiver as mikebiz and I've been very happy with it.

Prefer the heavier (not heaviest) leather once broken in. Trick is suptle. If not, no promises.

I finally got around to making myself one of my Olde Timer back quivers. I've used it a few times in the yard. Gonna take some getting used to after using a side quiver for the last 20 years or so. Still don't know if it'll ever replace my side quiver, but I'll give it a while........

I like a similar design and built one based on plans from the "How To" section on this forum but with a modified strap system. I prefer the 3-point harness as it does not slide around (like the looks of it better too to be completely honest:))..I have since added a faux red fox fur lining to quiet it down a bit. I used 9-10 oz leather but would have rather used something a little lighter that would break in a little faster.   (http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g456/CPTDimondback/TradGang%20Archery%20Uploads/QuiverBack.jpg)

Here are a couple I made.

My small back quiver holds about 8 arrows

Maybe not the type of back quiver your looking for but it is worn on the back

I also have a vintage Shakepeare leather back quiver with the zipper pouch and 3 point strap which holds alot more arrows. Santa brought it when I was 12 along with some new field arrows

Mike G back quiver...

Just dropped the string on a great boar in this one:

Just busted by a cow, a yearling and a calf in this one:

My mate Tony Jensen hung the soft toy camel off it as a joke, and it has become part of that quiver.

Ok, Yornoc wins! Looks like you got a wolverine attacking your back in that photo! Are those rawhide or tanned soft?

Soft, with a stout leather tube inside to keep the body.  Had a part time business called "Wilderness Quest" back in the days of minimal responsibility.  These are only a small few, I had a lot of fun, met a lot of great people.

my Shriver custom Pronghorn,, I asked the artist  who does all the artwork on the shrivers if he could copy a drawing I did of the exact moment in time seconds before the shot I made at my very first buck a 4-pointer... I wanted it frozen in time right down to the scent wick that he was sniffing and the tree he walked behind when I drew my bow just before the shot.

Doesn't get any better than that Ted!  The story going with the quiver will be told for many moons as its passed down.

Sadly, that wolverine was for a guy with terminal cancer.  Made it super custom for cost for a great guy.  Life can really be a B#$% sometimes.
