Title: Glue for adaptors and points
Post by: Oliverstacy on July 20, 2007, 05:55:00 PM
What is the best way to glue and adaptor on a broadhead?  I was told at the archery shop either fletch-tite or fletch-tite platinum would work great…is this true?

I have short 11/32 adaptors going into Grizzly heads.

Thanks,

Josh

I use hot melt or epoxy. Both work well...just make sure you clean the parts well before you glue them. I have only used flech-tite for feathers haven't heard of it being used for anything else.

Use either Ferr-l-tite hotmelt or epoxy.  Don't bother with Fletchtite for this; it will only hold long enuf to fail when you least want it to.

Clean or burn the oil from the inside of the tapers and be sure to get the heads and adapters trued before the glue sets.
