I am intrigued by the Saluki Scythian and have searched all over the internet for some pictures and I only found a few, if anyone has one or has pictures I would be really grateful to see them! Also if you have shot one or own one and can give opinions on it that would be great!

I have had 3 Ibex's and one Ghenghis. All were 60 inches.I have not had a Scynthian. They were too short for me at my draw.He did not offer the longer lengths in the Scynthian when I was shooting Lukas's bows.He now has the 60 incher.I bet thats a nice shooter and smooth with the shorter riser and longer limb
The cupid shape is more distinct on the Scythian through the riser fadeouts than his other models. Its a beautiful bow!Absolutly gorgous.I would expect it to be very fast and smooth like the Ibex is.I would like to try one in the longer length someday.Thiers no way anyone could be dissappointed in the aesthetic appeal of those Scynthians.
Sorry I cant help with pics.I sent you a PM.

You had to bring them up didn't ya.... :banghead: :banghead:
I'd love one of those. I went and tillered an Osage bow to look like one of these at full draw...it didn't last long. :deadhorse:

Scythians are great bows. Very well made, fast and unique.
I sold mine because it was too short but it was a real work of art and performer. I have a 62" Ibex and it's perfect. My Ibex is on Lukas' site with the elk I took last September.
I'm really considering the 60" Scythian but then it would have to share time with the Ibex and it's just too nice to put down.

I'll put a couple pics up of my Scythian when I get home tomorrow.

Well, a friend of mine has a hybrid one (glas, wood, hornbelly) and compared to my 48" korean Hwarang Model 25 I felt that the bow was not as smooth and this with about 26" draw than the Hwarang. I think it is the siyah design and length. His bow had a problem but Lukas took care of it and replaced it without any probelms. So I think his customer service is probably top notch.
My next prototype model will fuse the best of Lukas bow model and the korean bow together....
We'll see what deamon will be created there....

Do you use a thumb ring?
-
I shot all mine split finger.Alot of guys do.Its not a problem on the ones I had.A thumb ring may help on the really short ones. Some choose the thumb ring, some dont.

Never shot a Scynthian but I love my Ibex.
