Title: Hidden Draw bow blind?
Post by: huntsmanlance on February 23, 2012, 11:57:00 PM
Whip had run a thread about Joey's turkey hunting threads and posted some pics of these blinds they use and how they tinkered with them

Anyone else use one...did you make any changes....or make one yourself....and how does the wire frame hold up?

I made one of my own and proved it worked.

I didn't take the shots as coyote season was closed but I had two of them come in to my turkey decoy.

I counted coupe on both of them at about m5 yards by getting my bow up in shooting position and drawing on them.  They were on opposite sides so I had to move to get on the second one and I managed to get it done without spooking either of them.

After I counted coupe, I lower my bow and just sat there watching them until their curiosity was satisfied and they left.

Thats pretty cool Mudd! And even hid you from coyotes!!! What did you make yours out of? The ones on their site looks like it would have to be added to so it wasnt so see through.

I am thinking about making my own too....but have to figure out how to make it attach to a longbow!

Lance I'll send you a pm with my phone number.

They are really simple and inexpensive to build.

I also got one of the "Gadget attachments" from 3Rivers so I can put it on any bow I own.

God bless,Mudd

Mudd,

How did you attach the fake leaves? I believe I see a few zip ties...

Nice looking bow blind!

Thanks,
