I'm shopping for a more 'open' camo pattern and would like to know your thoughts on Natural Gear. It looks good for more open country with predominantly brown and greyish colors. They have the "SC2" pattern that has some green in it too.
I like the Predator and ASAT patterns too, but curious to know how the Natural Gear performs.

I have several pieces of it. I have the windceptor fleece jacket, vest, pants I wear when the cold hits and it works well. For the most part deer never pick me out. I have SC2 as well I wear turkey hunting and early bow season but it will probably take a back seat to the predator green deception I piced up for a song used.

I like it.
-
I love it,the elk don't seem to see me in it and I've been pretty close to a few wearing it and it seems to be one of the more reasonably priced patterns out there. To me it blends in with more terrains than just about anything I've personally tried. I'm hunting mostly in Colorado Mountains and plains of Colorado and Kansas.

I have Nat gear and use it alot. I like it.

As good as it gets, 1 camo pattern for any terrain

My sub-permitee wore it on my moose hunt. Against big trees he disappeared. Out in the open it blends pretty well, but I think predator breaks up the human form a bit better.
-
its one of the best. the problem is finding it
-
I think it is very versatile camo pattern.
-
I like it so much, just sent my Tall Tines out to get dipped in Natural Gear Cammo. Great pattern. Hard to pick out even in Texas with the red clay. Just disappeared in the mesquite trees and brush. I like it in Ohio from November on the best for whitetails.

Here is a pict of my buddy on the hunt.

Its what I use, I really like it. I like the original Skyline pattern as well, but it is tough to find any more.
-
I like nat gear camo and have since I had the dalaa which was done in that camo. It's a muted blend of tans, some brown with a hit of muted reddish color. It blends and doesn't jump out at you.

I'm a fan of a different brand.

Here in Aussie it works well in almost every situation. That being said Spring green is good for this time of year in the big wet we are having.
In a nut shell...yep, I like it also.

Thanks for the input and pictures. It appears to be a pretty versatile pattern.
MidwayUSA has reasonable prices on Natural Gear.

It's good stuff, but I found that the cotton will shrink, especially in the shirts. If you can afford it, get Sitka, not necessarily for the camo pattern, but for it's great moisture transport capacity. I use it both in cold and warm hunts, and it was completely worth the bucks I had to shell out. It really does what they claim!
-
It's not bad. I have a jacket in this pattern. I'd say get Kuiu if you can afford it. Breaks up your outline which is all that matters for deer and elk and any other big game. Plus it's made out of the best materials (better than Sitka and cheaper). I dipped a considerable amount of cash on it last year and have pretty much the while lube and I love it. It's awesome! Just my .02 though

Best all around camo I've ever used. I've worn it in 7 different states from elk hunting in Colorado and Idaho, to turkeys to duck hunting in several states. It seems to have a blending in effect in many terrains. I have found that there is a lot inconsistencies in the colors depending on the supplier, so I don't buy unless I can put my eyes on it. Still, it is a great all around camo!!!

Look at those 2 pictures that were posted.
Now thats how the stuff really works. In lighter colored(gray) woods the natgear clothing appears lighter color. and in darker woods the same pair of natgear appears darker. I've had picture s of me taken with the natgear and the two pictures posted above is how it showed up for me. I still got some and occasionly wear it.
But if your breaking up the human outline I honestly think the Predator fall gray camo does a better job but the natgear might be more versatile especially during turkey hunting.

I like gray types of camo. My last guided hunt all the guides commented that they wished more people wore camo like what I was wearing. It happened to be natural gear. They said that when I was still I just blended into everything and this was in central Montana.

Looks pretty good to me!

I like natural gear for on the ground but prefer Fall Grey for treestand hunting
-
I think it is a good camo, but I like Predator better.
-
Natural Gear is a great pattern. Natural Gear SC11 is awesome for Turkey hunting when sitting next to a tree during green up.
-
I don't think it has much breakup.

I have their snow camo and I had deer walk within feet of me and never knew I was there until they were dead.
