Way to go Mike.  We have pig up here in NW Florida but I haven't seem them while in the woods with my bow only along the road.  Best of luck in the hunt!!!!

Holy smokes! I never win anything  :)  I was at a crawfish boil trying to teach my father-in-law about mudbugs and Southern cookin' when I get a text from Steadman telling me I won.

I am honored and will not only do my best to go, I will do my best to give a blow-by-blow here. I have killed a few critters with my longbow, but never a pig. I have salivated over all the threads at Solana and others, and even have a hunt picked out from another Tradgang sponsor for Feb. But now I get to go sooner. Can't wait. Thanks everyone! Danny, I will put one in the broiler room just for you. I will be going the last weekend in April after confirming with Mr. Ray. If the camp is anything like the man I spoke to on the phone I am in for a great time...so long as I don't have to sleep with Squirrelbait  :)  He thinks I'm a yankee   :scared:

Kip, I will bring the taters, garlic and onion...and my own sleeping bag    :p  Bill we need to get those oil and gas boys here from LA to throw us another boil. Mudbugs are the best!

Even though I was born in Tennessee and only moved above dixie 8 years ago I guess I am a yankee   :)   I still eat Southern...does that count?

Lookin' forward to it...plus I am gonna pay my freight to hunt gobblers. Life is good!

Got my turkey tag in the mail from SC today and will be honing my neophyte pig hunting skills on a porker target in the yard as well as the turkies I am hunting with my ghilli. Tic-tock, 16 days and a wake-up   :goldtooth:  

Sheltoncreeker and I will be SC bound but takin' our Tradgang buds in spirit to Ray's. I am practicing up my Southern twang and workin' on my similies like "I am so full you cud crack a tick off my belly" after eating one of Ray's famous meals. Hope we pass the southern mustard and don't get caught watchin' the paint dry. Come on pig hunt...I am going stir crazy  :)
