Just joined, I have been a bow hunter for a long time, but just recently started with Traditional bows, I havent shot a trad bow since I was a teenager, and now at almost 50 I have picked up a trad bow and am hooked, I definitely have the disease and its spreading, I cant quit buying bows or coveting bows at least, I have started making my own arrows and quivers and tabs and all kinds of stuff. Last night I even was dreaming that i got another bow, hopefully this disease is contagious so I can spread it to my family and friends, Jeff

Nothings changed man. The Choc is still here, and the lambfries are as well. You can still shoot rimfires, burn trash, pop fireworks and have livestock all in the city limits. It's like the town is stuck in the 50's. I love it.

You are most definitely in the advanced stages of an incurable malady, my friend! Nobody actually dies from it, but nobody gets well either--then again, who wants too, huh? :biglaugh:
-
Now I just have to figure out how to block myself from the classifieds, just way too many awesome bows out there, and I want to shoot em all
-
Welcome!!!!
-
Whats bad is no insurance will cover the cost of this malady. welcome.
-
Welcome and have a great time. The latest news is there is no cure in sight for this sickness and I'm glad there isn't!
-
50 seems to be a good number. That is when I got back into traditional archery and must admit that I have bought too many in the last 3 years.... nah!!!
Welcome from upstate NY!
-
If it is any consolation, it is the arrow that matters most, and they are easier to make and cost less. :archer2:
-
Welcome. Great place to be.
-
I have a treatment for you..............Buy two bows, and call me in the morning. This will help for a month or two, then you will have to repeat the treatment.
Best of luck
Charlie

Welcome!
-
Horrible,no cure.I am infected too
-
Now that you have caught the disease maybe you will change to saying "Go Pokes". It is a good disease to have!
-
I say Go Pokes all the time, there is usually the word "Away " in between them though............... jk I do find myself having a hard time bowhunting during gun season since you HAVE to wear orange.
-
ahhh welcome. so its not just me with bow thing
-
If all those likewise infected will send me donations of cash I'll start researching for a cure or at the very least save you from buying another bow immediately.
I can think of a couple of bows I could order that would cure me....I'm positive my affliction would be over and done with... for real...maybe.
God bless,Mudd
-
Be careful as this desease can be fatal.... to your wallet!
-
I have to confess, I am weak and I think the fever is to blame, but I bought another bow yesterday. I am glad to know I am not the only one,
My name is Jeff and I am a Bowaholic
